ASPHALT

How Much does Asphalt cost per square foot?
The cost of asphalt is different for every job. It is a product that is based on volume, amount of labor needed to get the job done, and how much preparation it will take to get the job ready. You can call us with some measurements and get a ball park idea, but these prices are subject to change once one of our asphalt professionals looks at the job.

How long do I have to stay off the newly placed asphalt?
Generally letting a driveway set over night will be enough time to let the asphalt cool and not be damaged by regular driving

What kind of precautions do I need to take with my new asphalt?
The most important thing to remember about asphalt is that your car should be rolling when you are turning the wheels of your car. It if car sits in one area while its wheels are being turned, the asphalt could be displaced or pushed out of its current position.

When do I need to take these precautions?
Anytime that the air temperature is above 85 degrees and is in direct sunlight for the first year after the asphalt has been placed.

Why does it take so long for asphalt to get hard enough not to worry about tire marks?
Asphalt is a petroleum product and must have time to cure or oxidize and it may even take up to a full year to cure enough not to damage the asphalt with the above precautions.
